Lens Privacy Policy (pending counsel review)

Effective October 5, 2026. Lens is operated by MAD Monkey Media LLC ("MAD Monkey Media", "we"), Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas. Questions: legal@madmonkey.media

What we collect

• Sign-in identity from MAD Login (your name, email and account id). Lens stores no passwords.
• Profile details you enter: business name, bio, city, specialties, rates, links, portfolio images and video links, team pages and rosters.
• Messages, inquiries, booking requests and crew requests you send or receive, and their status.
• Plan and payment records (amounts and status). Card and bank details are held by the payment processor through MAD Pay, never by Lens.
• Basic technical data needed to run and protect the service, such as a hashed IP address used for spam limits.

How we use it

• To run Lens: show public profiles and team pages, deliver messages and crew requests, and send the emails you asked for (for example new-lead and reply alerts).
• To keep Lens safe: rate limits, spam and abuse prevention.
• To improve Lens, using aggregate data.
• We do not sell personal information.

What is public

• A pro profile or team page you publish is public and may appear in search engines (you can turn indexing off in Settings, Privacy).
• Team pages show members' names and titles, never their email addresses.
• Your email and phone are shared only with the person you message, so they can reply.

Who we share with

• Service providers that run Lens for us: Cloudflare (hosting, storage), Resend (email), MAD Login (sign-in) and MAD Pay and its card processor (payments, when enabled).
• The other side of a conversation you start.
• Authorities when the law requires it.

Your choices

• Edit or unpublish your profile at any time.
• Download your data in Settings, Your data.
• Delete your account in Settings, Your data. Deletion hides your profile right away and erases profile, message and portfolio data after 30 days; payment amounts are kept for tax and dispute records.
• Turn notification emails on or off in Settings, Notifications.

Retention and security

We keep data while your account is active and as described above after deletion. Data is encrypted in transit.

Children

Lens is not for people under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe someone under 18 has an account, email legal@madmonkey.media and we will remove it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including Texas, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or get a copy of your personal data, and to appeal a decision we make about a request. Use Settings, Your data, or email legal@madmonkey.media.
